What to Wear Suitable clothing is important when you are travelling in the Northern Territory. When travelling in the outback comfortable jeans, or similar practical clothing is recommended. Neat casual attire is accepted in most restaurants, hotels and other establishments. Regardless of where you are travelling in the Northern Territory, a good supply of water, shady hat, sunglasses, maximum protection sun lotion, insect repellent, sturdy comfortable walking shoes and a small backpack to carry personal items are recommended.

Summer: 1st December - 28th February Average Temperature Min 20. Max 35.2 The summer season is fast growing in popularity and it's the time when Central Australia is at its most vivid, with hot days and balmy nights.
